i was dancer, warrior, dream maker, caught in memory’s sigh
i spun ‘round that slippery spiral, afraid to really die,
i looked down upon a thousand, inter-woven lives
from the quiet beauty of a temple, sunlit sky.
yet too weary to walk the path spirit free,
to shake and rattle, loosen time’s decree.
maya’s illusion has set sail,
captured jaguar’s timeless tail.
as i spin through the worldly veils,
ancient centuries rise, then pale.
i’m running, racing, tripping over cosmic crystal sands
falling through magenta chaos strands
winging eagle tips across a future yet unplanned
as i find a golden quiet farmer’s land.
i’m speaking truth in silver spirit tongues,
in a state of flux, i’ve almost come undone.
maya’s illusion has set sail,
captured jaguar’s timeless tail.
as i spin through the worldly veils,
ancient centuries rise, then pale.
setting sun’s wander ways has left it’s fated gleam,
i’ve learned that memories are not always what they seem
while certain cosmic voyage power depths unseen
led me to these selves that aren’t merely but a dream.
i’ve come so far to unlearn, demystify the past,
as the precious new vision unfolds, i know it’s meant to last.
maya’s illusion has set sail,
captured jaguar’s timeless tail.
as i spin through the worldly veils,
ancient centuries rise, then pale.
